Well this week seemed extraordinarily long. I was a little busy with errands and carting my mom around to various doctors and shopping adventures but oh well, one of the duties I must take on since I am currently jobless. But once I get a job that won't be an issue any more and I will probably kind of miss all the extra time I have been able to spend with my family, Godchildren and friends. The job market is looking a little upward this month. IDK if it because of the upcoming holidays or just a good month but I found some potentials last night (with B-Rizzle's help) and hopefully I will hear back and at least get some much needed interviews under my belt if anything.
Ok...I must tell the world that Paula Deen is grating my nerves again! Not only am I sickened at the thought of her trying to sell her two 2lb. trays of her tasteless mac & cheese for almost forty freaking dollars on QVC. She has also let her hubby, Michael, join the bandwagon by selling coffee aptly named Paula Deen & Captain Michael Flavored Coffee, it also features his grizzly mug on the logo. And to make matters worse.... I woke up this morning to the sounds of her sons, Jamie and Bobby, on a radio advertisement to come visit The Lady & Sons. Ugh... the accent...the act... the uuugghhh of it all! I just can't take seeing her or hearing her anymore for a long, long time. How much longer will this go on? Maybe I wouldn't be so aggravated if it wasn't in my area. But Paula does not act like any other Savannian I have ever known. We aren't all sickening and put on fake accents or God-awful laughs (ok well maybe we do have some strange laughs) and plaster our faces on any and every possible place and thing and try to make bank on food that isn't truly Southern in the first place.
Enough about the wretched Mrs. Deen... read more about my day here...
