—John LydonWow, I had quite a busy week. I actually got out of the house for a few days and enjoyed the better things in life. Phew... I feel much better too. I wasn't ill or anything, just bored out my gourd and tired of the monotony. I had a couple of birthday this week and some little gatherings planned all over the weekend. Let's see, where do I start....
Monday: January 19th -
It was my best girl Jess's birthday. She had to work that day so I ran out to the store and bought some balloons and a card and some lunch and carried it over to her work. Luckily, the store was slow so I hung out with her for a little bit.
On my way out of the store, I noticed a 75% off sale at Claire's. You know I had to stop there for that kind of savings. I bought 4 pairs of earrings, 2 nail polishes and a bead necklace set for Gracie for $11.92. My sales receipt said I saved $32.83!!! Amazing right?! They officially close on the 30th so I am going to head out there one more time and grab up some extra accessories. Every girl needs accessories! :D
Tuesday: January 20th
I went to visit with Jason's mom and hung out with him for a little bit afterwards. He is working on a Jeep he bought not too long ago so I was overseeing the project lol.
Wednesday: January 21st
I don't think I did anything too exciting or noteworthy on this day.... But it was my friend Liz's birthday so I wished her a happy day :D
Thursday: January 22nd
I went over to Jess's house to hang with the kids and her for a while. I always have a blast with my Godkids. Gracie has glasses now and they are so cute on her. She is still getting used to them and yanks them off a time or two but hey she is barely two so it is going to take some time lol. Lil Man showed me his TAG book/pen thing which is really cool.
Friday: January 23rd
I went to Wal-Mart with Jess and the kids after we picked them up from school that day. I went to Publix afterwards to grab a few items.
That night, I was supposed to hang out with Jason and then meet up with Jess and her hubby and couple other folks at JT's in Savannah but Jason was running late so I just went on to JT's. I had a blast. It was six of us and we all had a good time. Great friends, good music and good drinks are always a good thing. lol.
Saturday: January 24th
That morning I recouped from the wild activities from the night before. Ran out to Kroger for a few more items and quick stop by Starbucks for another Black Tea Latte, which hit the spot. That afternoon, I headed over to Jason's and we hung out for a while but I was still tired from Friday night so I left around 10ish.
Sunday: January 25th (Today)
Today was Holley's birthday so I called her and sung a happy birthday song to her and we chatted for a while.
Other than that, I mostly just relaxed and did a little house cleaning and laundry. It amazes me how much laundry I can collect over a few days time. I swear, I am always doing laundry.
In other news:

I read that the Girl Scout's of America are shorting us some cookies this year. I am little upset by this lol. I wait all this time for some damn Thin Mints only to find out that my box will be a little lighter. But oh well, its for the Girl Scouts and, according to Yum, they could use the help. I checked the website and looks like we might start seeing the stands out and about here soon. If you know a GS, they should be taking orders already. Unfortunately, I don't know any GS's so I have to wait til they make a more public appearance.
Also, I found this interesting eye candy below here.

And last but not least, I present to you: Grocery Store Wars
So that is about all the excitement I could stand for lol. How about you? Was last week hectic for you too? Did you do anything fun or different over the weekend? Tell me all about it....

My *best* average error: 8.39 (lower is better) and that is with several rounds of practice lol
I think I can handle most of them listed with the exception of changing a tire (#10). I could probably do it if in a situation where I couldn't play damsel in distress and call a boy toy, friend, or family member. But even then, it would take me a while to get it done.
How self-reliant are you?
