Tiny Bubbles

a little bit of everything all rolled into one

I've got a [part time] job!

My interview went well today. I was a little nervous just because I hadn't interviewed in more than a year and I didn't know what would be asked. I think I handled it all pretty well though. I have to take a drug test Monday and that takes 2-3 days and after that is complete, I will begin working.

The staff seems fun. I know (somewhat) Gretta and Jennifer from Jess working there.  The dress code is pretty lenient - dress pants of any color and open toed shoes on non-stocking days.  I will have to work most holidays but that is fine by me; I am used to working most them from my previous jobs and usually don't have anything of extreme importance planned anyway.

After my interview, I bought three pairs of shoes: a black pair of a mary jane styled flats, a neutral tan peep toe wedge and a light gray suede moccasin style flats.  I will be on my feet a lot so I didn't want any heels to start off with.  So now I have to find 2-3 pairs of slacks and a whole lot of tops. I have a few pair of trousers in black and gray to get me by until I find a new pair. But I still need some cute tops.  And I grabbed up some fashion earrings and a few necklaces to accessorize with and I still have all those earrings I got for 75% off at Claire's recently.

I am really excited about starting work! And for going shopping! I think I am going to catch up on Sugar and go on an online shopping spree tonight.  I hope I find some cuteness this time around.
