Tiny Bubbles

a little bit of everything all rolled into one

Cheap & Chic? e.l.f. - eyes.lips.face.

I just bought this Mineral Foundation as well as 9 other items all priced under $5.00 each (my total with shipping was only $17.85!) but I have never used this brand before. The user reviews are mostly 4/5 stars.

I currently use Bare Escentials and I love it but am running low on the foundation and mineral veil and I don't really want to drop $40+ bucks on refills alone.  I also wanted to experiment with other mineral eye shadows but was hesitant due to the prices and slim color selections.

I was wondering if any of you have tried any of the e.l.f. products before? Did you have a good experience?

I sure hope this e.l.f. line is all it is cracked up to be. So if you have tried the line before, please drop me a line with your thoughts. Either way, I will be sure to add my reviews of the products once I give them a whirl.

The Little Explorer

Officially a working girl again

and I have the blisters to prove it!

Yes, I wore brand new shoes on my first day and am now completely regretting not wearing them a few times first. But the blisters aren't too bad, I should be fine in a day or two. Thank goodness for Band-Aid's and Neosporin! :P

My first day at work was great. I was a little nervous at the register and with the sales pitch to the customers but I will get the hang of it within the week. Nothing much too stressful or dramatic happened today. I have to practice my Are you aware of our rewards program? line and work the checkout routine a few more times and then I think it will all be good in the hood.

When I arrived for work, Gretta (my boss) had me fill out a gazillion pages of forms, agreements and policies. About an hour and half later, she walked me through the back stock area and then the sales floor. Then came the register. It's not so bad, it's just remembering where the specific keys are and what they are used for.  I stayed an hour later than expected but it was cool.  I also have to remember to 'clock in and out'. All of my previous jobs never required me to actually punch a time card so that is a whole new world for me. I am sure I am going to forget that a time or two for breaks and lunches.

All in all, I think I am going to like it.  It is pretty laid back and all the ladies I work with (that I have met thus far) seem nice and easy going.  We were laughing and dancing a lot of the day.  lol, That kind of atmosphere sure makes the day fly by. I have to go in at 11:30 tomorrow and close the next two nights then I am off for the whole weekend. YAY for that and YAY for having a good first day @ work! Hope you all had a nice day too!

xoxo
